Biography--

Kyle R. Wilson

At 17 Kyle is already a veteran in the highly competitive world of racing, competing every season since 2002, Kyle continues to keep his honor roll status at school, along with adding wins to his impressive racing resume. His laid back attitude and photo freindly face, combined with his never ending desire to win, makes his a force to be reckoned with everytime he straps on his belts.

Born Just outside of Tulsa, OK, Kyle came from a family back ground of dirt racers, it didnt take much persuasion to get Kyle in his first Quarter Midget race car.

Competing in Quarter Midgets of America (QMA), from 2002 -2006 Kyle racked up, 72 Wins, 102 top 3 finishes, 6 track and regional championships, and to this day stands # 4 on the all-time QMA win list.

In 2003 the Wilson Motorsports relocated to North Carolina to seek better racing opportuntties for Kyle's future in the sport he loves.

The start of the 2007 season Kyle moved into the
NASCAR Whelen Super Truck series, in just 10 starts, he had a best finsih of 2nd and 8 top 5 finishes, In May of 07 Kyle appeared on
Speed TV's show Wind Tunnel, after that spot light, Speed TV did a half hour episode on thier hit TV show "Truck U", featuring Kyle in a segment called "A Racer in Need"

In 2008 , Kyle moved on to the
Pro Challenge Series, where he earned
4 wins, 12 top 5's and 23 top 10's in 27 events,
this earned him the "2008" Rookie of the Year" honors, nominated for driver fo the year and finshed the season in a stellar 2nd in National Touring series points.

All of his successes in his first year in the Pro Challenge series enabled Kyle to continue in the series going into 2009, where he earned (1) pole, 8 top 3's and 11 top 5 finishes in 14 starts, in addition Kyle obtained the Honor of recieving his
NASCAR Camping World East Lic, as one of the youngest drivers to ever achieve this, at this age.

Along with Kyle's impressive resume and stats and busy racing and school schedules, he is devoted to helping charities, in 07/08 he volunteered at Victory Junction Gang Camp, in 09 he devoted extra free time to the Hospice Center of Irdell County, and has recently annouced that  for 2010, Kyle's official charity will be
 "Relay for Life-American Cancer Society"

Plans for 2010 include a full schedule in the Teams Super Late Model Trucks, Micro Dirt Midget and a limited schedule in the NASCAR K & N Filters Pro Series East, This grueling schedule will have Kyle racing all across the country in Nationally Televised events.
